Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot stopped in the third round of the US Open. He was eliminated by American player Sam Querrey, world No. 21, IPN reports.

Albot won the first set by 6-4, making thus Querrey to lose his fist set at the New York tournament. But Querrey won the next three sets 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 and qualified for the next round.

Earlier, Albot eliminated Ernesto Escobedo and Yen-Hsun Lu. He has never reached such a stage at a Grand Sam tournament.
