Moldova’s top tennis player Radu Albot has climbed 11 places in the latest ATP singles rankings to reach a career-high.
Albot owes his current 79th slot to his remarkable performance at Open Sud de France, where he reached the semifinals. Albot was eventually bested by France’s Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who went on to win the tournament in Montpellier.
Radu Albot will play this week at New York Open, where he will duel Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic in the first game.
