The radio station Radio Plai will change its frequency in Chisinau. It got the 97.2 FM frequency distributed by the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) at a contest. Until now Radio Plai broadcast on the 104.7 MHz frequency, Info-Prim Neo reports. The decision to grant the new frequency to the radio station was taken on May 4 by the votes of six members of the Council. Radio Plai will start to use the new frequency immediately after the BCC decision is published in the Official Gazette. According to representatives of Radio Plai, the replacement of the frequency will enable to improve the signal and extend the broadcasting area in Chisinau. The old frequency used by the radio station will be distributed at a new contest. Three more radio stations applied for the 97.2 FM frequency. The BCC also offered the 101.5 FM frequency to Radio Plai in Causeni district.
