Publishers from Chisinau took more than 1000 book titles to the "Gaudeamus" Fair in Bucharest

Three publishing houses from the Republic of Moldova are taking part in the "Gaudeamus" Book Fair, which is taking place from December 4-8 at Romexpo, Bucharest. According to Gheorghe Prini, president of the Moldovan Publishers' Union and director of the Știința publishing house, Moldova has brought more than 1,000 titles to the fair, IPN reports.

This year the publishing house Știința has three launches, the latest novelties in the collection Moștenire, Literary Essay in Bessarabia, A Panorama by Adrian Ciubotaru and Întâmplări cu Arpagic, a book by Ana Blandiana. "I hope that we will also impress in Bucharest, especially as we have prepared a unique program for the launch on Saturday, December 7", said Gheorghe Prini.

Cartier Publishing House will launch new volumes in the series "Cartier de colecție", "Cartier codobelc", "Rotonda". The novel "Nickel" by Cristina Hermeziu, "Imagine. Imaginary. Representation", "Doctrinele muncii și politica profesiunilor" by Victor Rizescu.

Prut Publishing House invites the public on Friday to a poetry marathon at Londohome (David Praporgescu, 31). Before the poetry marathon, Svetlana Cârstean will have a dialog with Moni Stănilă, coordinator of poetry collections at Prut Publishing House, about the book market in Bessarabia. The honorary president of this edition is one of the best known and most appreciated contemporary Romanian writers, Mircea Cartarescu.

Gaudeamus Bucharest 2024 brings together 200 participants, including all the prestigious publishing houses in Romania, Romanian and foreign book distribution agencies, university publishers and higher education institutions, music distributors and a rich and varied range of educational games. Over 600 publishing events are on the program.
