The public transport in the municipality of Chisinau will work according to a special program between June 15 and June 30. This way, the trolleybuses, buses and minibuses will run between 5:00am and 10:30am and then between 3:30pm and 9:30pm. The persons without protective face masks will be unable to get onto the units of transport. This is provided in a decision adopted by the Extraordinary Commission for Public Health of the municipality of Chisinau, IPN reports.
The number of passengers on trolleybuses and buses of average and large capacities (standard) cannot exceed 30-40, on buses and trolleybuses of increased capacity (articulated) - 50-60, while on minibuses of a low capacity – not larger than the number of seats on the unit of transport.
The Commission will also ask the central public authorities to ensure the presence of carabineers and/or soldiers in public transport stations, who will monitor how many persons get on units of transport, will prevent crowdedness and will not allow persons without masks to get on.
Private minibus carriers will obey the same prescriptions and protection measures as the public transport.
