Following the general local elections on October 20, the Socialist Party and the ACUM Electoral Bloc have the greatest number of mandates in the Chisinau Municipal Council. According to preliminary results, PSRM will have 22 councillor mandates, while ACUM - 19, reports IPN with reference to elections.md.
The 22 Socialist councillors, according to the list, are: Ion Ceban, Vasili Chirtoca, Svetlana Popa, Dinari Cojocaru, Iurie Harmelin, Alexandr Odințov, Alexandr Comarov, Ghenadie Botnaru, Eugenia Ceban, Marina Radvan, Serghei Afanasenco, Vitalie Mucan, Serghe Basiuc-Brînzei, Ludmila Polodiuc, Valeriu Lupașcu, Alexandr Bondarenco, Iuri Vitneanski, Alexandra Tolocico, Grigore Bejenaru, Elena Hrenova, Nicolae Pascaru and Victor Poleacov.
The 19 councillors from ACUM are: Andrei Năstase, Vasile Grădinaru, Iurie Tesa, Alexandr Trubca, Ruslan Verbițchi, Roman Roșca, Ina Gaidău, Zinaida Popa, Aliona Mandatii, Angela Munteanu-Pojoga, Sergiu Rotari, Roman Cojuhari, Aliona Doroș, Dum Ivanov and Ion Macovei.
The Liberal Party will have three councillor mandates in the CMC for Dorin Chirtoaca, Veronica Herța and Ion Cebanu.
The Democratic Party of Moldova has two mandates, which belong to Vladimir Cebotari and Veaceslav Nedelea.
Șor Political Party also has two mandates and, according to the list, they devolve on Valerii Klimenco and Denis Ulanov.
Other three mandates have been distributed among the National Unity Party - Corneliu Pântea, the "New Force" Movement - Victor Chironda and the Communist Party - Nicolai Rusol.
In the Chisinau Municipal Council there are 51 councillors.
