As from April 2, citizens will be able to apply for an identity card at the multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency (PSA). On March 31 and April 1, applications will not be accepted, IPN reports.

Citizens who urgently need an identity document for internal use will be issued with provisional identity cards that have the same legal value as the identity card, the PSA noted.

Those wishing to obtain an identity card can make an appointment in advance online, on the Agency’s website.

The working hours of the multifunctional centers are from Monday through Friday, between 08:00 a.m. and 04:30 p.m.
