A group of protesters this morning briefly blocked the access of garbage trucks to the municipal landfill located on the outskirts of Tantareni village, Anenii Noi district. 

Eugeniu Axentiev, acting director of the municipal waste management company “Autosalubritate”, told the City Hall ordinary meeting that the protesters distributed leaflets to the drivers saying they can no longer carry garbage from Chisinau to Tantareni.

Eugeniu Axentiev said that the protesters were talked with and the organizers were warned that what they were doing was an arbitrary action and that they were not allowed to block the access as long as a contract exists.
