Program of country reintegration activities for 2023 approved

The Cabinet approved the program of country reintegration activities for 2023. This contains 26 projects to develop and modernize medical-sanitary, educational, cultural and sports institutions and activities to support the country reintegration objective, IPN reports.

“According to the priorities declared when launching the competition of projects, 11 projects to develop and modernize educational institutions, seven projects to repair medical-sanitary, cultural and sports institutions and seven projects to set up recreational areas and other public spaces will be implemented in localities of the Security Zone,” said Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian.

The kindergarten “Andrieș” in Onițcani village of Criuleni district will be outfitted with furniture and cultural equipment. The Theoretical Lyceum “Mihai Eminescu” in Dubăsari will have its internal electrical networks renovated. The canteen of the Dorotskaya Theoretical Lyceum will be repaired. The walls of the kindergarten “Izvoraș” in Bălăbănești village of Criuleni will be thermally insulated, etc.

By 100,000 lei in assistance will be provided to eighth educational institutions for purchasing equipment, including the Theoretical Lyceums “Lucian Blaga” in Tiraspol, “Alexandru cel Bun” in Bender, “Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt” in Grigoriopol, “Evrica” in Rybnitsa, “Mihai Eminescu” in Dubăsari.

Among the planned activities are also the installation of a water tower in Gura Bâcului village of Anenii Noi district, setting up of a playground in Molovata village of Dubăsari district and building of a Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Holercani village of Dubăsari district.

A sum of 15 million lei was earmarked for implementing the program of country reintegration activities this year.
