The producer prices in industry increased last month. The National Bureau of Statistics said the prices this August rose by 2.4% on this July and by 7.4% on last August, IPN reports.
The prices in the energy sector rose the most – by 9.5% on this July and by 9.8% on last August. In the processing industry, the prices increased by 1.6% on this July, while in the extractive industry – by only 0.1%.
The prices of the Main Industrial Groups (according to the EU classification) this August increased in the energy sector, the current use goods and intermediary goods industries, compared with this July. In the durable goods industry, prices grew by 0.1%,while in the capital goods sector, these remained at the same level.
