As many as 600 young people will be trained to generate business ideas. Another at least 540 young people will be helped to develop startups. The activities form part of the national program “Start for young people: a sustainable business at home” that was launched by the Organization for the Development of the Sector of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises. The Organization’s acting director general Petru Gurgurov said young people aged between 18 and 35 who started or aim to start a business, mainly in rural areas, can apply to take part in the program.

Expert of WatchDog community Sergiu Tofialt said there are suspicions that an intermediary bought the buses that were displayed in the central square of Chisinau and the difference in the purchase and selling prices was appropriated. Five men and two women aged between 25 and 70 died from complications caused by flu during February 11-17. The victims are from Chisinau, Ungheni, Nisporeni, Cimișlia, Anenii Noi and Taraclia. The number of deaths associated with flu since last October rose to 27.
