The radio station Antena C will become Prime FM, under a decision taken by the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) on August 25, Info-Prim Neo reports. The radio station was also allowed to change is broadcast schedule. Antenei C director Victoria Bucataru said the radio station over time passed through different development stages and it is now the right moment for it to introduce changes. Asked if the new name could create problems given that there is also a TV channel Prime in Moldova, with national coverage, Victoria Bucataru said the new name shows the two companies form part of the same media holding. In the same meeting, the BCC approved the new broadcast schedule of the television channel Prime, which will be 53% composed of national programs. The rest will be movies and programs broadcast by the Russian TV channel Pervyi Canal.
