President Voronin resumes his vacation for 2006
President of the Republic of Moldova, Vladimir Voronin, resumed his vacation for 2006 on August 30.
According to a press release of the Presidential Press Service, the head of state will enjoy his leisure time in Karlovy Vary, the Czech Republic.
Vladimir Voronin spent a part of his vacation during August 9-21 in Greece, near the Athos Mountain. According to the same source, during his vacation Vladimir Voronin planned to visit Vatopedi monastery on the Holy Mountain and was planning to meet several Greek officials.
In April of 2006, Vladimir Voronin had a few days off and according to the same press service made “a private visit to the People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of the government of this country”.
