Repair works are being carried out in Chisinau preuniversity education institutions to prepare them for the cold season. 256 of the 257 schools are ready for winter, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a report by the General Division of Eduction, Youth and Sport. A sum of 21.315 million lei was allocated for the purpose. 5.086 million lei of this was already used. 6.790 million lei is needed to repair the roofs of 52 schools, 7.116 million lei – to repair the sanitary facilities and heating systems in 35 institutions, 6.330 million lei – to carry out general construction works in 46 institutions, while 764,000 lei – to repair the electric power lines in 13 schools.
