Premiere to pay visit to France
Prime Minister Vlad Filat will be visiting France during April 12-14. He will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Ministers Iurie Leanca and Valeriu Lazar, Deputy Minister of Information and Communication Technology Dorin Recean, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Viorel Gutu, other officials and representatives of Moldovan businesses, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Iurie Leanca said the Moldovan-French relations are important for the political dialogue given the role played by France in the EU. He stressed that the French investments can contribute to the modernization of Moldova's economy.
Vlad Filat said that besides meetings with French officials, they will have meetings with representatives of companies that invest or would like to invest in Moldova.
The Premier reiterated his request that the Foreign Ministry should examine the role of Moldova's embassies and consulates abroad and stimulate the work of the economic representatives offices working under them so that they promote Moldova's investment opportunities.
