Premier satisfied with quality of political dialogue with E.U.
Premier Vasile Tarlev is satisfied with quality of political dialogue and diversification of cooperation between Moldova and European Union. Tarlev has delivered a press statement in this regard after the participation in the meeting of the Moldova-E.U. Cooperation Council in Luxembourg.
The prime minister said that the agenda of the Moldova-E.U. Cooperation Council has favoured an approach of main aspects of the Moldova-E.U. relationship last year. He noted that most of actions stipulated by the Moldova-E.U. Action Plan for 2005 were fulfilled.
The E.U.-Moldova Action Plan aims at continuation of the process of reformation of the judicial system, adjustment to international standards stipulated by international conventions and protocols by ratifying or joining them, completion of the internal legislative framework on human rights, improvement of investment climate, fulfilment of conditions needed to obtain the asymmetrical trade regime in relations with the E.U., access to the preferential trade regime GSP+, adjustment of the legislative framework on justice and interior affairs (trafficking in human beings, organised crime, money laundering, prevention and combat of corruption), fulfilment of obligations assumed by Moldova by joining the Bologna Process.
