Prime Minister Pavel Filip approved of the way in which the governmental bodies interacted to deal with the consequences of the natural disasters of April 20-22 and noted that the state institutions mobilized well and acted professionally.
In this connection, the Premier said the Government will suggest changes to the law on emergencies so that the negotiations between the crisis cell and the authorities is improved, IPN reports.
Pavel Filip stated the Government will provide assistance to those who were affected. The foreign partners and companies transfer money to the bank accounts opened for the purpose. The reserve fund will also be used to offer support.
Pavel Filip made the statements after the weekly meeting of the Democratic Party where he is first deputy chairman. In another development, the Premier said the meeting discussed the appointment of ministers at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology. He voiced hope that a solution will be found soon and the proposed candidates will be negotiated with the parliamentary alliance.
