PPPDA presents commitments in justice in protest in front of Appeals Court

The candidates of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” mounted a protest in front of the Chisinau City Appeals Court. They said that their team that consists of professionals is ready to assume responsibility for the justice sector where concrete actions need to be taken to root out corruption, while the people should be done justice, IPN reports.

MP Vasile Năstase said that radical changes should be brought about after the July 11 snap parliamentary elections. After the external assessment of judges, the corrupt ones should leave the system and should answer for the committed wrongdoings.

The party’s leader Andrei Năstase stated that the citizens can take revenge on those who commit illegalities by their vote on July 11. Particular criminals involved in the Russian Laundromat are now on the outside. The PPPDA pleads for real lustration in the justice system and the prosecution service, for the punishment of those involved in raider attacks and illegalities and also for the extended confiscation of the property of judges, prosecutors and high-ranking officials.

The party’s leader also said that they will take steps to make harsher the punishment for unjust enrichment and for those involved in schemes to embezzle state property.

MP Dinu Plângău noted that the most important commitment is to modify a number of normative documents to prevent political corruption so that there are no parties financed with dubious funds. The suspect and corrupt persons should not have access to public posts.
