Electricity will be disconnected in several localities in the Transnistrian region this evening, starting at 6 pm. They are expected to last one hour per address groups until 22:00, IPN reports.
The Tiraspol administration says that the disconnections are being carried out because local residents are consuming more electricity than is being produced.
The so-called authorities also say that the disconnections scheduled for one hour could last an hour and a half because of the technical process of disconnection/connection.
Houses in the Transnistrian region are disconnected from the heating but electricity is being supplied. The Transnistrian administration had previously stated that this potential exists in January and February.
