Political party accuses the ruling party of sabotaging the creation of local public administration
The “Moldova Noastra” Alliance condemns the actions of the Party of Communists of deliberately sabotaging the creation of district and local public administration by breaking the quorum and boycotting the creation of the new councils, AMN MP Alexandru Lipcan told the sitting of the Parliament.
In his words, the delay in the creation of new councils is marked by outraging instances of corruption and political blackmail. “The time lost by the local communities because of failing to organise the new administration, a failure staged by the communists, is intensely used by them to blackmail the representatives of other parties or to buy them off with cash or with promised offices. There are reports that thousands of dollars are proposed in exchange for joining the communists, and these persons refuse the money, they are threatened with criminal proceedings or investigations”, the MP says.
Lipcan says that the sabotage is an action organised at the central level, with the involvement or with the tacit consent of several authorities of the state. The main proof is that this method is used in 16 districts: Anenii Noi, Cahul, Cantemir, Calarasi, Causeni, Criuleni, Drochia, Falesto, Glodeni, Hancesti, Leova, Soroca, Soldanesti, Stefan Voda, Telenesti, Ungheni. The AMN faction in the Parliament informed the General Prosecutor’s Office and the Centre for Combating Economic Crime and Corruption, requesting them to verify each case where a local non-communist councillor supports the communist councillors.
According to the cited source, it is clear that the present regime is not capable of accepting the option of the voters, which brought the defeat of the communists in about 27 districts. Thus, the concerns that Voronin would use his influence to generate crisis situations in order to annul the June 3 election outcomes in the districts where the communists lost the local elections are apparently true.
The AMN faction called on all the representatives of the non-communist forces “to maintain their standpoints despite any pressures and tempting proposals made by the communists”.
