The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) and the National Liberal Party of Romania (PNL) will sign a political partnership agreement. For the purpose, a working group was created to draw up the cooperation protocol that will include medium- and long-term objectives, IPN reports.

In a press release, the PLDM says the working group that consists of representatives of the two parties will soon meet to formulate the provisions of the political partnership agreement.

The PLDM and PNL are members of the largest party present in the European Parliament – the European People’s Parry. They share the same principles and values based on human dignity, freedom and solidarity. Both Romania’s PNL and the PLDM are for building a functional state with the rule of law and for developing and modernizing Moldova and Romania and aim to contribute to establishing the political future of the two states.
