The leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, acting Prime Minister Vlad Filat said the actions of each of the political leaders will show what goals they pursue. According to him, the colleagues from the former ruling alliance reached an agreement of principle so that during the negotiations they do not make mutual accusations and ensure the atmosphere needed to conclude a comprise agreement, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a press briefing on March 15, Vlad Filat said that they obey this agreement and will make all the necessary comments when time comes. He reiterated the necessity of re-for mining the Alliance for European Integration and of removing all the possibilities leading to early elections. According to him, all the state institutions, including the Prosecutor General’s Office and the National Anticorruption Center, must not belong to a certain party. Asked about the Communist Party’s initiative to dismiss Marian Lupu from the post of Head of Parliament, Vlad Filat said that this issue will be discussed within the party, were they will take a decision. “Our objective is not to satisfy certain states. We aim to ensure political stability and the continuity of governance,” he stated, adding that the PCRM always wanted early elections and to cause chaos.
