A delegation consisting of members of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the European Union Affairs Committee of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland will be visiting the Republic of Moldova during January 16-18, IPN reports.
While in Chisinau, the Polish officials will meet with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Nicu Popescu.
The delegation from Warsaw will also have discussions with representatives of the Commission on Foreign Policy and European Integration, the Commission on National Security, Defense and Public Order and the head of the Moldova-Poland Parliamentary Friendship Group Larisa Voloh.
The agenda includes a number of meetings that will center on regional security issues, the energy crisis and the European integration of the Republic of Moldova following the obtaining of the EU candidate status.
