The tax for one gamming machine is 7200 lei. The tax losses for one year in this specific case constitute 1.7 million lei. If normally gambling machines return 20% of the money spent by the client, the verified machines do not offer even this little chance, said Chetraru. In this context, the head of the Public Order Department from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Mihai Cibotaru declared that this machines destroyed many families, and determined a lot of children to break the law in order to be in possession of money needed for playing in the Gaming Houses.
