The National Patrolling Inspectorate warns the drivers to be attentive on the road given that the State Hydrometeorology Service forecast a worsening of the weather conditions, IPN reports.

High winds, low temperatures and sleet all over the country are expected. In this connection, the patrolling inspectors warn the motorists and pedestrians to be prudent and to strictly respect the traffic rules, namely to permanently adjust the speed to the conditions on the road and in traffic and to appropriately use the lighting and signaling systems.

The pedestrians are recommended to be increasingly cautious and avoid using the roadway, especially when it is dark and the visibility is poor, and to make sure it is safe before crossing the road.
