Given that the farmers continue protesting, the General Police Inspectorate warns that the protesters intend to enter the municipality of Chisinau through the streets Muncești, Calea Orheiului and Șoseaua Hâncești at about 10am and recommends motorists to avoid a number of road sections, IPN reports.
Later, agricultural machinery will be taken to the central square of Chisinau, where the protest is to be staged.
Road traffic can be disrupted on a number of streets in the capital city. Therefore, the police recommend drivers to avoid using the itineraries that include the streets: Calea Orheiului – Tudor Vladimirescu – Grigore Vieru – G. Bănulescu- Bodoni, Muncești – Iu.Gagarin – C.Negruzzi – bd. Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, and Șoseaua Hîncești – str. Gh. Asachi – str. A. Pushkin.
Tomorrow, June 21, the farmers intend to take agricultural machinery from the Great National Assembly Square to the rotary on Calea Ieșilor St and then to return to the central square. Police teams will accompany the columns of farmers so as to maintain public order and fluidize traffic.
The police call on the participants in the protests and on all the citizens to obey the taken public order and security measures, the law and the instructions of the police so that the protest are held in optimal conditions.
