The Botanica Police Inspectorate said that a sum of money was found in front of an apartment building located on Traian Blvd and in the elevator of the staircase on March 13. The police are looking for the owner of the money.

This January, a Chisinau Central Market vendor discovered 20,000 lei near the stall and informed the police about the find. The money was returned to the owner. This was a man aged 64 from Chisinau. He told the police that the money was intended for an operation that he was to undergo.
