The police have held the suspected murderer of a 19-year-old resident of Chisinau. The 20-year-old suspect runs the risk to spend up to 25 years in prison or event lifetime detention. The penal investigation started on basis of self-denunciation of the suspect who admitted the murder. He told investigators that he shot dead a person on the Balcani highway near the city of Ialoveni on February 23, around 13:00. The suspect has stolen pecuniary goods from victim after killing him: a golden ring, chain and bracelet, as well as a mobile telephone. He buried the body nexr the street Gheorghe Codreanu in the Buiucanii Vechi district of Chisinau the same day, threw the gun in the lake Valea Morilor, and pledged the pawned the golden objects in a Lombard near the central market in the capital. The police found the body on March 24 and withdrew the pawned jewels from Lombard the same day.
