The National Liberal Party (PNL) does not compete in the snap parliamentary elections of July 11 so as not to disperse the votes, but calls on the citizens to vote for the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform”. In 2015, the PPPDA started the fight against thieves, oligarchs and corruption and supplemented the budgets for villages and towns with 700 million lei, obtained the transfer of hundreds of millions of lei for the farmers affected by drought and raises for medical personnel and designed the political project “Intelligent Union”, PNL member Mihai Severovan, ex-minister and ex-mayor of Chisinau, stated in a news conference at IPN.
According to Mihai Severovan, the PPPDA initiated in Parliament inquiries into the bank fraud, the concession of the Chisinau International Airport, illegal privatization processes. This party has the most ambitious program that envisions the augmentation of subsides for agriculture, supports the business community and, with a pro-European government formed by the PAS and PPPDA, it can start to root out corruption on the very first day after elections. The PPPDA MPs have been daily in touch with the Moldovans and didn’t defect to other parliamentary groups.
PNL member Alexandra Can, ex-minister of industry, stated that the citizens eligible to vote should choose the PPPDA’s team. She knows well Alexandru Slusari, Igor Munteanu, Inga Grigoriu, Liviu Vovc and other candidates for MP from this party’s list and she saw their performance in the former legislative body. ACUM Bloc that included PAS and PPPDA managed to solve a number of problems. PNL did its best to unify the parties of the right and to promote Moldova’s union with Moldova.
Mircea Rusu, a member of Moldova’s first Parliament, analyzed the work done by the PPPDA MPs in Parliament during the past two years. This is practically the only team that has dignity and tells the truth. The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” filed the largest number of applications to the Constitutional Court and appeared before the press most of the times so as to help and solve problems in different areas.
