Platina Chisinau become Romania's hockey champions
The ice hockey team Platina Chisinau won the U-18 Romanian National League's title. In the final round, they bested CSS SC Miercurea Ciuc 2-0. Platina won the first match 6-4 and the second one 3-2, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The Moldovans became champions after winning every match: 12 in the regular championship, 6 in the play-offs and 2 in the final.
As a result, Platina were invited to join other competitions. “We were invited to play in Romania’s top tier, as well as in Belarus”, said the club chairman, Sergiu Cebanu.
