Petrocub beat Codru 4-1 in Chisinau in the 13th stage of the National Division. Fullback Ion Jardan managed to score his first two goals for Petrocub, IPN reports.

The score was opened by Iaser Țurcan with a kick from inside the pitch, while Eduard Zaplitnyi scored an own goal with Petru Racu’s kick. The goal of honor of the hosts was scored by Artiom Pestriakov.

The team trained by Lilian Popescu profited from the draw between Milsami and Sfantul Gheorghe and climbed to the second spot in the rankings.

Sfantul Gheorghe interrupted the series of seven victorious games of Milsami. The team from Suruceni was even close to scoring a victory in Orhei following the goal scored by Roman Volkov. But Alexandru Antoniuc defeated his former mate from the national team, goalkeeper Nicolae Calancea, during the last minute.

The following matches were scheduled for today:  FC Florești - Dacia-Buiucani and Sheriff – Zimbru. Dinamo-Auto meets Speranța tomorrow.
