The personnel of public sector units will be paid bonuses for the results in work archived in 2021. For the purpose, the Cabinet approved the allocation of 207.7 million lei from the state budget, IPN reports.

According to Minister of Finance Dumitru Budianschi, a sum of 93.2 million lei will be redirected to the central public authorities, while 114.4 million lei will be transferred to the local budgets. The money will be allocated as specific-purpose transfers.

A sum of 592 million lei was earmarked in the 2022 state budget for ensuring the implementation of the normative framework on pay grades in the public sector, including for paying the annual bonus for results in work in 2021.
