The leader of the Moldova Platform, Irina Vlah, stated that the people of the Republic of Moldova deserve to live better and this dream will soon become a reality, regardless of the hidden goals of the current government.
In a press briefing at IPN, the leader of the Moldova Platform presented the concerns of the country’s citizens identified as part the “Voice of the People” campaign. According to her, besides the multitude of problems that the people face in their localities, there are also general, countrywide problems.
“There are three major problems that worry the citizens – the demographic crisis, the fear that the government will engage Moldova int a war and the dictatorship that is taking a more pronounced shape. I considered it necessary to speak publicly about these nationwide problems and the local problems signaled by the citizens. We will systematize them together with our mates and will try to contribute to their resolution through concrete approaches we will take to the responsible institutions,” said Irina Vlah.
In her opinion, the government lives in a parallel world and has no idea about what really worries the citizens, what problems they would like to be addressed and solved by the authorities as a priority.
“We, the Moldova Platform, will continue to discuss with the people, to identify the real problems they face and raise awareness of the concrete situation in the country among decision-makers. We thus hope to remove Maia Sandu and the little yellow men from the tower where they barricaded themselves so as not to hear the complaints of the people whom they impoverished. And if they don’t want to get out of the tower and solve people’s problems, we will resort to other levers. The people in Moldova deserve to live better and this dream will soon become a reality, regardless of the hidden goals pursued by Maia Sandu and her authoritarian regime,” said Irina Vlah.
