Firefighters and rescuers did not find any source of burning at the Chisinau International Airport, where the fire alarm system started ringing on Friday morning. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said that no one was hurt. All persons who were inside the airport were evacuated, IPN reports.
After the fire alarm system started working, firefighters were called out. Following checks carried out by specialists on the spot, no source of burning was confirmed. The circumstances of the incident are yet to be determined. No one was injured.
The Border Police said that all the necessary measures were taken to evacuate the passengers and auxiliary staff from the airport. The competent services were asked to intervene.
In this connection, the Chisinau Electric Transport Company announced that the circulation of trolleybuses No. 30 in the area close to the airport area was affected. The trolleybuses are running up to the nearby filling station.
