As many as 218 residents of the municipality of Chisinau have obtained form No. 9 by 15.00, as opposed to 228 persons at the same hour in the first round of the elections on June 5. Angela Chicu said the lower number of applicants is due to the fact that fewer settlements hold the runoff vote. More than 2,000 persons applied for temporary identification papers in Moldova between June 14 and 19. The local offices of “Registru” today work until 21.00.
