The compensation for heat for January-March is freed when those entitled present the identity card or the pensioner’s certificate. No other documents or applications are needed, the Government’s secretary general Victor Bodiu said in a press briefing on Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. Victor Bodiu stated that hundreds of complaints come through the hotline set up by the State Chancellery and from the Government’s field representatives. The people say they are misled about the lump sum that they are to receive for three months. The secretary reiterated that the recipients can collect the compensations from the branches of Banca de Economii during three months. If they do not manage to, they will be able to lodge an application with the National Social Insurance House during three years. “The compensation totals 390 lei or by 130 lei per month, not 320 lei or 100 lei as it is reported,” said Victor Bodiu. Those who are entitled to compensations for heat include the persons who receive pensions and social benefits of up to 900 lei. The compensations started to be distributed on April 11. More than 41,000 persons of the 540,000 entitled received the compensations by the morning of April 12. Those who have questions can use the hotline 250 453.
