PDM spends over 3.2m lei in two weeks of campaign
The Democratic Party (PDM) has spent more than 3.2 million lei over two weeks of campaign, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the report submitted by the party to the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Until May 5, the Communist Party spent about 2 million lei on electoral advertisements and typographic services. The Liberal Democratic Party declared that it spent 2.1 million lei, while the Liberal Party spent no money by May 5.
The reports on the incomes and expenditure in the election campaign were approved by the CEC on May 10. The electoral authority issued warnings against Moldova's Patriots Party, the electoral bloc “Third Force”, and the Democratic People's Party of Moldova for not presenting the financial reports at the expected time.
The election runners are obliged to lodge financial reports with the Central Election Commission once in two weeks.
