PDM selects candidates for executive positions in Government
The political executive bureau of the Democrat Party (PDM) Monday assessed the work of the groups of experts and designated the party’s candidates for executive positions in the Government, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the party.
Marian Lupu said the discussions were constructive and useful and the results will be made public after a meeting of the leaders of the three parties that formed the government coalition.
“There are no principled divergences on the government program. There are a number of points that continue to be discussed, like the reform of the legal system, the prosecutor’s office, the law enforcement bodies. We consider that there should be a general, professional and clear approach to the reform,” said the president of the PDM.
As regards the selection of candidates for posts in the Government, Marian Lupu said they took into account the principles of continuity and professionalism.
On Monday, January 10 the PDM was to give a press briefing to make public its position on the government program. The meeting was postponed following changes in the schedules of the some of the leaders of the party.
