The office of the Democratic Party (PDM) in Soroca town was devastated last night by unidentified persons, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the party's press service. The culprits broke in and stole the safe where there was kept the stamp of the party's district organization and documents concerning the PDM's work. “The PDM said earlier it does not want a campaign in which aggressiveness and identification of the political enemies will be a priory. We regard this incident as a clear signal that the election campaign will be tough and not in accordance with the rules of a fair campaign. Aggressiveness can only deepen the polarization of society and make the people disappointed in the politicians and the democratic processes in general,” it is said in the communique. The PDM requested the police to investigate this case and elucidate the circumstances in which it happened.
