PDM deputy speaker replaced
The post of deputy speaker of Parliament on behalf of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party (PDM) will be held by Alexandru Stoianoglo. A relevant decision was taken by the Parliament on Friday following the appointment of the former deputy speaker Marcel Raducan as Minister of Construction and Regional Development, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The parties that formed the Alliance for European Integration decided to institute four posts of deputy speaker of Parliament so that every parliamentary group has by a representative in the Parliament's administration.
The posts of first deputy speaker is held by the AMN leader Serafim Urecheanu. Iurie Tap, of the PLDM, and Marcel Raducan, of the PDM, were named as deputy speakers.
A post of deputy speaker is vacant as the parliamentary group of the Communists Party refused to field a candidate for this position.
