Carriers engaged in international road passenger transport must register the route before crossing the border with Ukraine. The National Road Transport Agency said the obligation enters into force on February 12, IPN reports.
According to the Agency, the use of the electronic system “eCherha” for road passenger transport units at all border crossing points has been extended.
“In this regard, in order to further optimize the border crossing process, the mandatory registration in the system of all buses and coaches transporting people through Ukraine’s border crossing points is introduced as from February 12, 2024. Transport operators involved in international road passenger transport operations must register the route before crossing the border with Ukraine,” the Agency said.
The condition applies to regular or occasional passenger routes.
