The parliamentary group of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) has a new member. This is Vasile Portsevski, a substitute candidate on the PAS list. The Constitutional Court validated his seat of MP, IPN reports.
The Central Election Commission requested the Constitutional Court to pronounce after taking note of the vacancy. CEC vice president Pavel Postica said substitute candidate Svetlana Dimitrioglo informed the Commission that she refuses to occupy the seat. Vasile Portsevski is the next substitute candidate on the list. By a statement, he confirmed his readiness to sit as an MP.
Vasile Portsevski, 34, graduated from the State Teacher Training University “Ion Creangă”, the Faculty of Informatics and Information Technology, and has a master’s degree. He now teachers at the Vocational School in Nisporeni town and heads the Nisporeni Local Organization of PAS.
The seat of MP fell vacant after Vladimir Bolea was appointed Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry.
