The candidate for mayor of the capital city of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Lilian Carp said that if he is elected mayor of Chisinau, he will not allow to build new blocks inside yards of apartment buildings and on sports grounds. According to him, the municipality of Chisinau needs a development view, IPN reports.

The candidate noted that a General Urban Development Plan is needed and he will approve such a plan by integrating the suburban settlements into it, with strict and clear rules in building, with green spaces and public infrastructure.

“We will launch a joint program with the Government to combat and demolish illegal constructions and a program to restore the facades of buildings downtown by removing all the visual garbage,” stated the contender.

As it was decided by draw, Lilian Carp of the Party of Action and Solidarity on the ballot will be the sixth on the list of candidates.
