The 1,086 district and musical councilors elected on November 5 represent 21 political parties and 16 independent candidates. An analysis published on alegeri.md shows that the Party of Action and Solidary (PAS) and the Party of Socialists (PSRM) obtained the largest number of seats – 357 and 256, respectively, IPN reports.

Out of 34 district and municipal councils, in seven there will be an absolutely majority formed by one party. The PAS will hold a majority in four local councils, in Călărași, Criuleni, Ialoveni, and Strășeni, while the PSRM – in three councils, in Briceni, Dondușeni, and Ocnița.

In the Chisinau Municipal Council, the PAS and the National Alternative Movement will have by 20 seats. The PSRM will have six seats, while the Party of Communists - two seats. The Revival Party, the Party ”Dignity and Truth Platform”, and Our Party will have by a councilor on the 51-member CMC.

In the Balti Municipal Council, Our Party will have 11 seats, the PSRM – nine seats, the PAS – six seats. The Party “Force of Alternative and Salvation of Moldova” got four seats, the Revival Party and the Party of Change – by two seats, while the Party of Communists – one seat.
