The Parliament’s press service made public the statistics of the spring-summer session of the legislature. According to the published data, Parliament held 38 sittings and adopted 216 legal acts, IPN reports.
The MPs had 245 absences. The Liberal-Democratic lawmakers had 90 absences, 11 of which unjustified, the Communist lawmakers - 73 absences, 11 of which unjustified, while the Democratic MPs – 23 absences.
The Lib-Dems submitted the largest number of legislative initiatives - 72 of the total 216. They are followed by the Democratic MPs with 62 initiatives and the Communist MPs with 31 initiatives.
The legislature’s standing commissions had 251 meetings. The legal commission for appointments and immunities held 37 meetings of the total. The other commissions had up to 26 meetings.
