Parliament to start sitting on September 25
The Moldovan Parliament will convene for its fall-winter session on 25 September, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the press unit of the Parliament.
By tradition, the speaker and the faction leaders will deliver speeches.
The Cabinet is to report on liquidating consequences of the last summer's floods and on the talks of the Government, the Employers Unions and the Trade Unions on paying salaries to budget earners. The National Bank is to inform the parliamentarians on the situation on the currency market.
The Parliament's agenda for the coming 2 weeks includes over 20 drafts dealing repatriation of money, with state-run enterprises, salaries, land transactions, the Penal Code and the Executing Code.
The MPs are to ratify international acts as the accord on financial cooperation with Germany, with Slovakia, the frame convention on cultural heritage with the Council of Europe, the Joint Statement on instituting the Regional Cooperation Council.
The last session ended on July 11.
