The agreement to lend €150 million for financing the budget deficit of Moldova, which was signed with the Romanian side in Chisinau on October 7, was ratified by Parliament, IPN reports.

The money will be disbursed in three tranches. The first tranche of €60 million will be provided this year. The loan is repayable in five years at an interest rate of 1.5% a year. The lending agreement takes affect after it is ratified.

After the vote, Head of Parliament Andrian Candu thanked Romania and the people of this state for the provided support.
