Parliament today voted to repeal a ban on tire incineration, IPN reports.
According to the bill’s sponsors, lifting the interdiction from the Law on Waste will “allow the expansion of waste recovery operations and will contribute to their management through material or energy recovery”.
The new legislation will take effect with its publishing in the Official Gazette.
