Parliament may have extraordinary session after spring-summer session
The lawmakers are ready to hold an extraordinary session in order to manage to pass the bill on the fiscal-budgetary policy, the leader of the Democratic group Dumitru Diacov announced Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The legislative body is ready to work during vacation if the Government presents the whole package of documents concerning the fiscal-budgetary policy. In this case, the legislature will announce an extraordinary session. Such a proposal was backed by the colleagues,” Dumitru Diacov said after the meeting of the Parliament’s Standing Bureau.
The leader of the Liberal-Democratic group Valeriu Strelet said the fiscal-budgetary policy has been practically drafted. “The only difficulty that is to be overcome is the negotiation of aspects concerning the value added tax on sugar with the development partners,” he stated.
The spring-summer session ends on July 29.
