The Parliament Building was illuminated in the colors of the flag of Europe and of Moldova’s flag in the evening of May 13, on the occasion of Europe Day that is celebrated on May 9. In Chisinau, events dedicated to Europe Day were scheduled for May 13 and 14, IPN reports.

In the morning of May 13, an exhibition of drawings showing the children’s view about the European Union was mounted in the hall of the Parliament Building. There will be selected the best 12 drawings that will be included in the Parliament’s calendar for 2017. Also, the Government of Romania provides places at Romanian camps for participants in this exhibition.
